Challenge
How can you hack a vending machine to release products remotely? What's more, how can the vending machine talk to and interact with the participants?
Solution
In partnership with W+K, Bolha produced the Bis Zuêra Machine, a vending machine that uses the power of BIS to play with people. In a remote studio, comedians Léo Lins and Marcelo Adnet controlled the machine and interacted with participants.
Circuits developed by Bolha were installed in the vending machine, which also received cameras, a microphone and speakers. The Zuêra Machine was capable of transmitting image and audio to a remote studio, where comedians joked with the participants. The comedians' voices were modularized and transmitted to the machine. A web interface created for the project gave control to choose which props (or flavors of BIS) the machine should release.
