Google Station

Challenge

In this action planned by Wunderman Thompson, the goal was to create an activation in which participants had to be connected to Google's wi-fi network in order to interact. The action should reward participants and encourage them to use and join Google's new wi-fi network, which has been installed in São Paulo's train stations.

Solution

Bolha hacked 3 crane machines (better known as magpies) that were controlled by cell phones. To play, the user just needed to be connected to the Google network and wait for their turn to play in a physical and/or virtual queue.

Participants don't need to register, just connect to Google's wi-fi and play. The machine was adapted to make it easier for most people to win the giveaway: an exclusive Google cell phone ring.

The activation toured São Paulo's main train stations, always queuing up and generating curiosity. And it was a real success, selling out quickly.
